Sucre

To be a real Friend,
The nature of friendship,
Requires a blend of warmest compassion,
Deep care and truth to reach and to comfort,
Your friendship is priceless to me.

I can't give solution to all,
Problems, doubts or fears,
But can at least listen to you ,
And together we shall search for answers.

We can't change our past,
Heartache or pain either,
Nor the future with its untold stories,
But here we are,
Caring we will for the present.

Can't keep your feet from stumbling,
But offer my hand that you may grasp it and not fall,
Your joy, triumphs, successes and happiness are my greatest happiness,
Yet can always ship in and share my laughter.

Your decisions in life aren't mine,
To make, judge or question rather respect,
Support you,
Encourage you,
And help when you ask.

Can’t prevent you from falling away,
From friendship nor values from me,
But trust me prayer and talk can,
I sit back and watch, patience beside me

Can't give you boundaries which I have,
But can give a,
Room to change,
Room to grow,
Room to be yourself,
Room for happiness.

Can’t keep your heart from,
Breaking and hurting rather cry with you,
Help you pick up the pieces,
And put them back in place,

Can’t tell you who you are,
Can only love you and be your friend.
